Is this course in person?
VIP is the only option that offers a rare opportunity to be personally taught and coached by an award-winning musician with over 20 years of experience, virtually and in person.
What is the cohort option like?
Students will be given access to a portal with sessions that are pre-recorded. The upcoming cohort will have coach hours to provide an opportunity to ask questions, receive additional instruction, and get personalized coaching. This is a great self-paced, cost-saving option for motivated students.
A password will be given between February 15th and March 4th to all who have enrolled in the cohort before it starts on March 5.
What is coach hour?
Coach hour is only for students in the cohort; however, VIP students are welcome to join the coach hour sessions outside of their one-on-one sessions. Coach hour is a pre-set schedule connected to the Spring Cohort that will Start March 5 at 7-8:30pm EST
Is this a self paced course?
Yes and no. VIP is a virtual one-on-one session with the instructor. For the cohort, you will have access to the content to review, and the coach hour with fellow cohort members is where we will answer questions, recap lessons, and give students a chance to show what they have learned if they so choose. For the group session, students should remember they are taking this journey with other students.
What if I don't have a piano or keyboard to practice on?
A piano or keyboard is not required to get the knowledge, but is highly recommended for dexterity.
What is the investment?
The cohort is less than $24 a lesson, with the total being $197 to register. The VIP experience is $480 for one-on-one virtual lessons. VIP one-on-one sessions are $60 per session and include a workbook and bonus masterclass after the 8 weeks. VIP sessions are also customizable for beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians.
Why is Learn Piano Worship nickname 888?
Alphaeus feels that every beginner can learn to play in 8 lessons. The 8 lessons can be broken down into 8 hours, 8 weeks, or 8 months you choose. It is even possible to take an 8-day vacation to learn piano if you are a beginner. All in all, if you put in the work, you will be rewarded.

I have always had a passion for music and wanted to learn how to play piano. I would mainly learn how to play by hearing it but I always wanted to learn the basic of playing piano. So my dad signed me up to take lessons with Alphaeus at the age of twelve. He taught me all about notes, chords, posture, finger placement, inversions, tempo. All those things I had no clue about. I took lessons for about 2 months. Time went by and I practiced everyday. I am now playing and ministering to people all over the world.
